Bought a pair of shoes from Tomaz. Was told it was leather. After wearing 2 months, I sent it to my regular cobbler for resole. I normally request for Vibram soles. They are more expensive but they last longer. Anyway, the cobbler told me that this shoe is made from PVC. He also showed me that the sides were all starting to wear out and no point to use the good Vibram soles because the shoes will only last another few months before they break. Buyers Beware!!

Tomaz Shoes Old models were made of PU Leather, but current new models are Cow Leather. I brought the Tomaz Shoes I bought to cobbler, to make sure I bought a leather shoes, the cobbler told me that it is leather. Dr.Shoe at Jaya33 approved the shoes.

How will you feel if you paid RM179 for a pair of 'good quality leader shoes' and found that they are not waterproof? I got mine in November 2012, lucky me, I got wet toes every time it rain. I went back to the store, they replaced me with a new pair. But the same thing happened again, so I asked for an exchange. They agreed, but only a pair for a pair, instead of the cash value of my pair, even if I am willing to pay for the exceeding amount. After a long conversation over the the phone with the store manager, he agreed to send the shoes back to the factory and fix the whatsoever problem, or he will refund me with cash. Of course I agreed. But then, days passed, he never called or answered my call. when I called his co-workers, they told me that, this manager told them that the factory couldn't find anything wrong with the shoes, and company policy don't allow refund. I had the shoes back, waiting for sunny day. Poor quality product + poor service, I am sure they wouldn't be in the market for too long.

Designs are ok to me. Pricing quite good. But the soles on dress shoes tend to crack easily around the arch. Maybe due to the material and thin construction. Happened to both of my Tomaz dress shoes worn for only about 2 months. Bought in 2012 for RM99 each.

I have a pair. Some parts are real leather. Some parts are PU. I was not able to tell until I took it home and closely inspect. For less than rm200, I cannot expect anyone to put 100% real leather but it is misleading when they say it is real leather but actually I would say 70% leather, 30% PU. The design is nice. Shall see if it is comfortable. PU is not so breathable. If it was fully made with leather. I dont mind paying rm200 to rm250 but even for this price and semi leather, I doubt I will buy again
