Shell FuelSave Tips

yea..im back!! i ve been working for Shell pass few weekends...and i tell you PEOPLE...i GOT TANNED?!?!?!?!? ok, anyway..lets start the journey..hehe..

basically we were there to educate consumers on fuel saving tips..*complimentary by shell fyi* and there's 10 tips in total...this is only the first one they launched...more to come i think..i ll show all 10 tips later...hehe

the main focus is to check consumer's tyre...yes, all 4 of it...coz if you maintain optimum tyre pressure..you can save up to 3% of your fuel..means 3% more to use lah..so, if the tyres are not properly inflated...we had to fill it in for them lo...yea...that's what we did...we checked tyres and fill in air...AND GET TANNED basically..;p

some of the ppl jz got so sked till they tot we want them to sign up shell card...hmmm...the bankers out there...you are just so scary?!?!? hehe...;p

this is the station i worked...located in subang permai usj 1..hehe..and guess what...i got to pick watever drink i like..everyday ;p

yes...THE vest that we all required to wear?!?!? scary ler..hehe..i jz wore it one day for video shooting...then i kept it...hahah

so, people..do you know what's your car's optimum tyre pressure??

first, open your driver seat door...with the car key of coz...

then, try to look for the car manufacturer's tyre pressure sticker...hehe

look for this sticker...which shows the optimum tyre pressure...then you pump according to it lo...and save 3% of your fuel if you constantly check your tyre monthly...;)


Shell FuelSave Tips

* change gear in good time, moving up to the highest gear ASAP
* drive smoothly - avoid hard acceleration
* avoid sudden breaking
* make sure your tyres are properly inflated
* avoid over revving your car
* avoid carrying excess weight
* switch off your engine when ot's not in use
* use your air-conditioner sparingly
* keep your engine well tuned and serviced
* avoid high speeds

by follwing all the tips above..you can save up to 10%...;)
