GPS Mapking VS GPS Garmin for mobile pda

GPS Mapking 2007 with latest map all available at malsingmaps.com . I bought a second hand pda at mudah.com.my with GPS system and also sold my old phone at mudah cause its easy !! Then i cant wait to use the GPS system, so I went to the PDA EXPERT at cineleisure and upload the GPS system. Damage RM60. I know can download at internet but I just cant wait so I decided to buy. Its work very well but abit lag maybe my pda is old version !!! anyway later I accidentally deleted it ... WTF !!!

This is where my adventure begin ..... when I found out tat Garmin GPS also available, I do some research how to download and crack it ... tis is what i want to share with you guys ...

its work well cause I tested... all you have to do, its to do some reading then you can save some money !! spend a little time here and you'll able to DIY your GPS into your pda soon.

STEP 1 download all the files below (Total 9 files)

1 - software garmin
Garmin: Garmin Mobile 20 Software Update Collection

2 - File IMEI_converter.rar

4 - File allvecihles.rar

7 - File gpx.rar

Step 2 follow the instruction step by step

Install the following file using cable attach to your pda using Sync and save it to your pda memory card

- GarminMobileXTforWindowsMobile_50020w
- GarminMobileXTFreeBasemap_4xxxx
- GarminMobileXTSupportFiles_4xxxx

do not lauch the software ... just follow the instruction and install the 3 files above....

After install the 3 files then copy the File v2.30_unlock into the Garmin Folder.

use imei converter to track your id card. Usually its 8-10 digit number

Then use garmin keygen to get your 25 digit number.

Later open a notepad and paste the 25 digit number and save the file as sw.unl NOT sw.unl.txt
For Example :

= file name save as : sw.unl
= save as type use: all file
= encoding use : ANSI

!!!!! the step above is to unlock the garmin software so its very important !!!!

After creating sw.unl file, open garmin folder at your pda memory card and copy the file sw.unl into it..

ITS ALL DONE & READY TO BE USE ....

This is the folder & files should be inside at your Garmin folder

Apps – eula – firmware - gpx – help – jpeg – poi – userdata – voice – sw.unl – gmapbmap.img – gmapsupp.img & vechiles

If dont have just copy and paste it into the Garmin Folder. The files is all had been download by you. Its all at the download link above number 4-9.

If you see the folder 2577 at your Garmin Folder, you can delete it.

now back to my story ... after learning the steps above i finally save another Rm60-80 which is selling online and in the shop. I lost my mapking thks to my stupidity of me went to delete it on accidentally. SHIT !! then i try my luck to go back to PDA Expert and ask them to install back for me for free ... and they are very nice, they install it to me but delete the mapking.cab file cause they scared i duplicate it ... haiz ... anyway you can download it online if you find it hard. After using it both which its now in my pda I find it mapking is nicer to use but graphics is suxs compare to Garmin ... anyway to me both its good cause it had done their very best part of GPS system which bringing me to the destination .. most important is the MAP !!! must get the latest map so you wont get lost !! ....
